I stopped by to talk with the new store’s staff but no one was there. The coming soon sign has been taken down and there has been work done on the interior. However Tom N Toms Coffee is not yet open for business. I did manage to get a picture of what the inside will look like. I think.

When this store opens can someone let me know. Thanks

While checking out the new Tom N Toms I went upstairs to see Fusion Shabu. Fusion Shabu looks like a nice place to eat. They were closed when I stopped by. Even though they were closed I did get to talk with one of the people who worked there. It seems they have been open at this location for a while now. Here is another place I need to try sometime. I included their business hours and their menu

On my way back from getting my truck registration and photographing the historic windmill in Diamond Bar I found a new coffee shop is coming to town. Tom N Toms Coffee will be opening soon. There was no other information. I ask the meditation center located in the same building and they did not know when it would open either. So I guess we need to wait and see. The new coffee shop will be located at lemon and Golden Springs Dr in Diamond Bar

Historic Diamond Bar Windmill

On my way back home from the auto club I stopped by the historic windmill in Diamond Bar to get a few photos. I have been meaning to do this for some time now. It seem that I’ve been rather involved with several web projects and dog training, so no time to cover local happenings. I’ll be using these photos for the header in the Diamond Bar section of the site and as the rotating picture on the main part of the website. Also had a chance to talk with a nice lady who grew up in the area before there were so many houses. I hope to have a section about the windmill and its history coming soon.

Auto Club in Diamond Bar

I needed to get my vehicle registration renewed and decided to go to the local AAA auto club in Diamond Bar. I usually go to the Huntington Beach branch because I do a lot of work in Orange County. Last time I went to AAA in Huntington Beach it took over 30 minutes to get the tags. At the Diamond Bar office I was called literally just as I sat down. I was so surprised I even remarked “that was fast.” Triple A is always good at customer service but today was especially good, and quick.
