Puente Hills East shopping center has a good mix of interesting and useful stores, restaurants, and businesses. I will highlight a few of the businesses in this and future posts. As I train dogs around town I like to become familiar with local businesses. Some notable commercial establishments in the Puente Hills East shopping center are the Japanese super market, several restaurants, and the veterinarian.

Before the nuclear catastrophe in Japan I used to shop at this supermarket quite a bit. It’s a great place to get some of my favorite Japanese treats. Unfortunately I’ve stopped eating a lot of my favorite foods that are imported from Japan. I have tried to find substitutes, but there really is nothing quite so tasty as real Japanese food. If you think food from Japan is safe please leave a comment. I do like shopping at this store. There will be video in a future post
Puente Hills East has what appears to be a wonderful Taiwanese bakery. I really want to eat here sometime.
Are there any slim women over 18 and under 45 years old who would like to help me review and evaluate local businesses and restaurants? You have to be willing to have your picture on this website. If would also be nice if you could do short video reviews in Mandarin. Where ever I go I am always looking for website content.
There is also a curry house that looks like a great place to have a bite to eat. The cool thing about this restaurant is that it’s entertaining to just look at their window display. More on this in a future post.

We can’t forget to mention the veterinarian. The receptionist at this vet is always so cheery when I go into visit. I am sure she is helpful and compassionate when people have a sick pet as well.
While I was training the dog a nice lady invited me to a vegetarian pet meet up. The meetup is going to be held at one of the restaurants at this shopping center. I am planning on attending unless something comes up. I’m also scheduled to join a Huntington Beach dog beach meetup on the same day. If I attend the vegetarian pet meet up you can expect a review of the restaurant and the food in the near future.
